With over 16 years of digital commerce experience as a Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer, and marketing executive on both the brand and agency side, I’ve led companies through the complete life cycle of business; from concept, to testing, executing the build, establishing operations & logistics, analyzing performance, optimizing for profitability, team building, and making quick strategic decisions that scale efficiently.
I’ve been an operating partner of a founding team responsible for building an eCommerce business to $60 million in annual revenue, which was acquired by a $30 billion vertically integrated commerce corporation, spent 6 years as a marketing executive inside that company, and a few years on the agency side working to incubate and accelerate DTC eCommerce and SaaS brands. In 2015, I began incorporating content into my commerce strategy, executive producing original content series’ on behalf of major brands and athletes.

My “medium” size engagement typically provides advice & strategy to the core leadership team of DTC eCommerce companies, while not managing other members of the organization or owning tangible deliverables. I get into a client’s quantitative and qualitative data, get up to speed on their product, customers, and business enough to be a thought-partner in weekly sessions. Best fit for profitable or funded ventures that need to grow quickly.

This role also offers strategy & guidance, but is more hands-on compared to the Advisor role. At least 10 hours per week is necessary to take charge of key deliverables and/or work with teams. Fractional Executives aim to fill specific strategic and executional gaps in a leadership team, which are typically identified through collaboration between the Fractional Executive and company leadership team, with clear SMART goals and roadmaps.
